Where I Grew Up

The Sky-Vu Drive-In, one of my favorite places to go, located in the industrious town of Gratz.

The glen in Lykens, good fishing was done here.

The glorious cannons of Elizabethville.  Helped us win the wars, all of them.

The Hotel Washington, also located in E-ville. Ol' George himself stayed here when he unveiled the cannons seen above. Pretty sure it is just a bar now.

The elementary school in Berrysburg, currently out of business.  My father attended school here for a few years.

The Millersburger Hotel, located in Millersburg.

Crossroads market, AKA the Auction. Fun place for the amish and local farmers to sell their crops, meat and other trinkets. Bought comic books and the best homemade orangeade available here. Location Unknown.

The Christmas Tree farm that my family has gone to for Christmas trees as for almost 15 years. Located in Dalmatia.

Gender-Swap Redo!!

Jonah Tasia Mason, an officer and a gentleman.

The original pioneer himself doing the Captain Morgan pose.

And Tasia herself, sitting on the elderly couch. If only she knew why I took her picture.

Gender Swap (not a spin-off of wife swap)

Alabaster in the 1930's. Doc Brown forgot to pack extra plutonium, again...

The original babe from the 30's. Can't get much finer than this.

Somebody Special that I Know

This is a picture of my girlfriend, Trish.

This is the original image.

Strangers on the Pike

Saw this couple at one of the turnpike rest stops. They were walking around the parking lot and the man had a nice looking SLR around his neck. I thought that was cool and I was hoping that he would keep it on for the picture, but he took it off before I took it. They had a bus to catch so I didn't ask to take another.

Self-Portrait

Jim Morrison is my favorite musician and has been for most of my life.  I chose to do my self-portrait in this way to mimic his famous photo shoot.

This is the original image.

Assignment #1

The original of my modified photograph.

Assignment #1 Selected Images

I liked this picture the least because the flash was way too bright and I think that it threw off my shot.
I liked this picture the most because its a simple shot of an old, neglected fence.  I also liked that the green plant was rich in color and seemed almost to be struggling for life underneath the cinderblock.
I took this picture to show my German heritage along with my American citizenship. I chose to modify it because I liked that the red of the flag and of the feather in the hat presented themselves nicely with the grayscale background.

Back to the Future

The DeLorean DMC-12, with some modifications=My Dream Car

Matterhorn

Picture of the Matterhorn in Zermatt, Switzerland.  I was there 8 years ago and had a snowball fight on the mountain in summertime! Very memorable experience of an interesting small town with a beautiful landscape!
